My hope in the studio is that students gain a deep understanding of the power of music. Not just the ability to produce a great tone or how to perform a song for a school or community production. Those elements are indeed important. But, I also want for students to feel the subtleties of music that stir the soul. I want for students to hear the music, feel the music, and be moved by music.
